I need a little help defining racism please

Huckabee

Posted 7:34 am, 06/06/2023

I will be a friend to red, yellow black or white Just as long as they treat me right. Life is to short to judge or be a fruit bearer of any ones skin color. When you try judging people before you get to know them is sometime a big mistake. Some of the nicest people I have ever got to know was some I didn't especially care for when I first met them.

If I use the stereotype label "pervert", to describe you, and I do not know your color does that make me a racist?

Fox, I don't understand why you don't just admit you're a racist? You are. You're not ashamed to say racist things so why are you bothered by being called a racist when you so clearly are?

Stereotyping is not racism. Think about it, we stereotype old white men, blonds, gym rats, preachers, school teachers, gun owners. When I read the OP all I see is an observation with facts becoming derogatory. As I see it, it is impossible to present truth to someone living in a fog without offense.. JMO

Examine your bias, Anti!

Anti's bias lands her in the veiled racism pillar, so you guys should get along well.

I guess so? I completely agree with Bootstrap Theory and Claiming Reverse Racism, and those are listed under "Veiled Racism." But there's some obvious nonsense in that those two are in the same category as making racist jokes

Which, of course, make the whole scale seem like what it is... anti-white racist nonsense.

I agree with much of the "Minimization" category... Colorblindness, Denial of White Privilege, Not Blindly Believing Anything a Black Person Says Regardless of Evidence. And to some degree, yes, I agree with "Get over slavery." I agree with these because I prefer facts to rhetoric.

But most of all, I find it amazing that the chart explicitly says that if you oppose anti-white racism... then you're racist

Bestill, you bounce around a lot on the CRT scale. You obviously believe in Hiring Discrimination, which is under the "Discrimination" category. And, of course, Tone Policing, which is in the "Veiled Racism" category. And you suffer from the worst "White Savior Complex" that I think I've ever witnessed! Which is under "Minimization." If you determine your category based on the highest that you go, then I guess you would fall under Discrimination?

I was thinking about this earlier...

The fact that the OP is stereotyping "Mexicans" (which I think he means Hispanics) and then comparing them to his stereotype of black people and finding one group to be better than the other, then I have to say that... yes, that is racist.

I can't think of any scenario that would allow that type of race-based generalization that's not racist.

I know that Bestill wouldn't agree with this, and neither would Critical Race Theory. But to me, someone that's not racist wouldn't even be aware that "Mexicans... have nice cars, good jobs," etc. They would recognize them as people and not even consider that their race may have something to do with it.

...and as far as I know they don't have a clerk following them around in the store to keep them from stealing

And this is the worst part, using racism to justify further racism

If you tell the truth then that alone just messes dems minds up. That is when they start calling you names because they can't argue with the truth.. No you are not racist for telling the truth. Keep telling it because the truth does not fit any of the Left's Narratives.

knstyr, anyone that gets a thrill from watching cars going around and around like frenetic goldfish on steroids definitely has a problem. I don't know if it's racism or raceroid syndrome, but they have some kind of problem. "Hey Bubba look a wreck aint that sumpun!"

Not sure where you saw people working. What I saw was people putting it in the trunk of a car

If they were stealing they sure were bold. Several of them with truck and trailers and WHITE MEN supervising.

I have not read anything in the paper about the theft. Are you sure?

The definition of racism depends on who's applying it and to whom. I still have a problem with accepting interracial marriage, it doesn't make any sense but it's the way I was raised. My parents would not go to a black doctor however, they were OK with black nurses. Try to make sense out of that!

You seem to fall under anti's basic definition of racism, old school, considering your post. Her pyramid addresses bias, which is not the same thing.

I am a white older man, does that alone make me a racist?

The most basic definition of racism would say... no:

prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized.

However, Critical Race Theory would say... yes:

What you are describing falls in the "Minimization" category, and briefly touches into the "Veiled Racism" category.

So it really depends on which definition of racism you want to believe.

To me, though, it sounds like you're argument is that "Mexicans" (I assume you mean Hispanics) are better than black people due to some stereotypes that you believe to be true. So I would have to agree that there is a layer of racism in your post... not necessarily "white supremacy," but "anti-black" racism.
