The miracle is that he is on the ballot!" his grandfather said. "Timmy, for more than half of my life, I wasn't allowed to vote."
"America is not a racist country," he has said.

Tim Scott is getting tons of praise for calmly dismantling the hosts on "The View" when they started to whine about racism
I can totally see why many people think Tim Scott would make a good candidate for president.
Senator Scott, a presidential candidate from South Carolina, went on The View today and calmly and peacefully destroyed their notions of systemic racism against black people.

Historically, we see the same trends...
The US swings too far to the right.
Then it swings too far to the left to compensate.
Then we have a period of moderates, which is when we do the best as a nation.
Then it starts over.
With Trump, we swung too far to the... well, straight up, really. He wasn't right wing at all, he was slightly-right authoritarian. But the right embraced it anyway, and changed their ideology to match.
Then with Biden, we swung WAY too far to the left.
Now we need a moderate to balance everything out. Biden was supposed to be that moderate, but he's a huge disappointment.
If the GOP would promote a moderate then they could easily beat Biden, and would probably retain control for 8 years. But right now the top GOP candidates are all extremists. So really, the nation loses regardless of who wins.

It really too soon for anyone and I do mean anyone to take a stand, we've got a long way to go before the field is finally set to run!!!
