Senior.. The Spirit is Gods word. God teaches us how to enjoy the life he gave us. From chapter 1 of Genesis it starts his spirit moved and God said let there be light. The Bible is a wonderful book nothing like the Christian Religion have us thinking. Hope you enjoy your journey with the spirit of God.

All true, mhj. I've been wanting to do a more in depth study on the holy spirit. Yet, there seems to be much confusion on just what/who this spirit is.

You don't have to sin if you carry the Holy Spirit in you. Jesus gives you power by his name to be a overcomer. You sin because you still carry the things in your heart of the world. Desiring to have things you shouldn't have. Y'all will find out that Jesus will not be mocked.

To reply to your question mhj, it's all about the relationship with Jesus. People repent because they love Jesus. Then that "old man" distracts them, and they sin. We must get up, ask for forgiveness, and continue following Jesus Christ.

I understand completely. Sin is in the mind of God. If there is no God, there is no sin. If there is a God, you can't dictate to him what is a sin.
