I know several teens that applied at Roses and fast food and didn't can't get a call, but the signs are still up that they're hiring. Then I read that about the PPP loans. I can't confirm it, but it would definitely explain things!

Rely? Because all the employers I've talked to say they still can't get people to apply.

Or maybe someone else got hired or the person wasn't what the employer was looking for.

I've seen a million Now Hiring signs, but I also know a bunch of people that have been applying for jobs and can't get a call back.

I recently read that most big businesses are lying about it. They were given PPP loans last year that were supposed to maintain employment, and if they didn't cut employees then the loan would be forgiven.

But now, as long as they say that they're hiring then those loans will still be forgiven.

So they get to work a skeleton crew and everybody just accepts it, but they're really just putting millions in their pocket.
