I found this for 2022:
Their net assets did drop a little... $1.227 billion in 2021 to $1.138 billion in 2022. But the Patient accounts receivable is about the same: $76.9 million in 2021, $75.0 million in 2022. Which means that there was no real issue of not getting paid for patients.
The summary of the audit says:
The Medical Center has experienced business and staffing disruptions in recent fiscal years. This situation, coupled with the evolving nature of the specific terms and conditions of the Provider Relief Fund program, is the primary cause.
Due to business and staffing disruptions, duplicate expenses and lower lost revenues were reported to HRSA in the reporting Period 2. However, sufficient lost revenues were reported in Period 1 to cover the duplicate expense amount reported of $2.4 million.
Which means that the money lost came from a lower number of COVID cases.
Further...
Total debt 2021: $247,151,347 2022: $232,833,973
So they paid off $15 million in debt...
Salaries 2021: $587,631,361 2022: $633,112,447
So salaries went up by about $45.5 million...
Meaning, of course, that out of the $89 million loss in revenue, $60 million was from paying off debt and giving out raises.
There's nothing in the audit about immigrants...
Also of interest, you can see that the CEO's salary has gone up substantially since he started in 2016:
2016 - 947,615 2017 - 859,509
2018 - 1,176,120
2019 - 1,176,120
2020 - 1,787,913
It doesn't look like they've submitted to the IRS for 2021 or 2022 yet, though, and the audits don't specifically give his salary. But with salaries increasing as a whole by 8%, I'd be surprised if he didn't at least get an 8% raise... which would be $1,930,946.
You just proved that the hospital was profitable when Trump had the border under control but since Biden took over they have lost $20,000,000. That's your desperate attempt to spin, but the facts show otherwise. They made more money during COVID, and now the pandemic has mostly ended so they're not getting that extra money.
It amazes and horrifies me how Trumpsters point to the pandemic and claim that it was a good thing Sure, 1.12 million Americans died... but thank God the hospital CEO got his $600,000 raise!! Right?

Antithesis, "and the hospital itself profited over $34 million in 2020 (after expenses):"
I forget, what year is this, I guess since the hospital had a profit in 2020, there is absolutely no way things could have changed in the 24 plus months since?

Antithesis, "Medicaid helps offset costs borne by hospitals in providing emergency care to undocumented immigrants by providing payments to hospitals for emergency care provided to individuals who are otherwise eligible for Medicaid but for their immigration status."
What if Medicaid determines the care provided was for a Non-Emergency situation, who pays then?

This is completely false.
Medicaid helps offset costs borne by hospitals in providing emergency care to undocumented immigrants by providing payments to hospitals for emergency care provided to individuals who are otherwise eligible for Medicaid but for their immigration status.
https://www.kff.org/racial-...mmigrants/
So while the undocumented immigrant isn't eligible for assistance, the hospital still gets paid.
I suspect that the hospital is claiming to have lost money because they're only getting Medicaid approved rates, instead of the extremely inflated rates that they usually pass along to the uninsured... often 5-10 times higher than insurance rates!
The CEO of the hospital making this false claim, Robert Trenschel, is also a financial contributor to the GOP. Which means that his statements are automatically biased:
This CEO made $1,787,913 in 2020, and the hospital itself profited over $34 million in 2020 (after expenses):
It's just a joke to say that this hospital is "on the brink of collapse."

Good let them fail. People should seek alternative means of care. At least they won't be poisoned

Arizona hospital on brink of collapse after spending $20 million on migrant care: 'Nobody has a solution'
You can't expect a hospital to operate at a $20 million deficit, yet continue to keep the lights on. The illegal alien situation creates an impossible scenario for hospitals because there is no legal way to recover costs. So they have to charge you and your insurance company more to try to compensate for the care given to illegal aliens who should not be allowed in this country. And at a certain point, even that isn't enough.
Not only does the state and federal government not care, but you also have the Biden administration (aided now by the state) TEARING down the border wall in Arizona. They're inviting this problem in.
