While we are changing road names shouldn't the stretch from Arby's to Lake Taco just below Animal Hospital Hill be named the Stoney Greene Bypass? It takes in the Lowes Bargain Missed and The Hole

I propose a section of East Main street Wilkesboro currently called "Old 421" from the Oakwood intersection all the way to NC115/Bus 421. An enterprising farmer could grow a heritage strain of high bush cotton in the bottoms, in memoriam. Naturally colored cotton is commanding a very high price at boutique mills right now, especially the green and red hues. The various browns are seeing a rise in demand also.
