Now let me get this straight just a few years ago the righties were insisting that h*mosexuality and transgenderism were not hard wired. Now a trans goes all the way it's so they can cheat in sports, so if they're not hard wired to be different how do they accomplish the total transition?

Also, I really hope this hypothetical fake trans athlete has incredible insurance! Like next level good considering how much it's going to cost them is specialist visits and the drugs themselves. Yeah seems so likely that teenage boys are going to pretend to be trans for multiple years so they can go to college for free???? Like are you kidding me?? Yeah, I'm sure going through a second puberty with woman's hormones won't disrupt their athletic career.

Did you ever consider that there may be some requirements to acquire hormone replacement therapy? Like seeing a psychologist and an endocrinologist? And just because maybe they don't specifically mention it in your article there may be some general requirements involved in being on a woman's sports team or in competition with woman, like having your gender listed as the correct gender you're competing as on all your documents?

Ah yes, because there's so much money and glory in women's sports that it's likely cis male athletes will start falsely identifying as transgender.

In this case, yes... we're talking about scholarships worth about $60,000 a year:

I know nothing about professional swimming, but I found that the average salary for WNBA players is $120,648:

So yes, there's definitely money involved.

Have all their legal documents changed. Find a psychotherapist and an endocrinologist and convince both of them they are of sound mind and actually transgender. Then spend a year taking hormone replacement therapy, living as a trans a woman and not competing in their sport.

None of those are requirements, other than taking hormone replacement for a year.

"If we continue on this path, isn't it likely that men will opt to take a year of testosterone suppression so that they can compete and win in professional sports as a woman, then just stop the treatment when they're finished?"

The whole time their body changing, breasts growing and losing muscle mass, then finally, probably two years later they can start competing again? Yeah, seems "likely"

In bestie's defense... she's only OK with it if the man's wearing a dress.

It's sicking that men that can't compete as men would turn to a female sport to impress people.. Dudes playing I'm a girl don't give them the right to play in girls sports. There are only two males and females. Not 3 or more.

Wimmin are faster, stronger, hairier, balder, gruffer, smellier if they start out life as men.

There's another man in woman's mma . Now even he probably couldn't beat the top mma females. I just don't think it's right. There's women and men's sports for a reason.

Lia Thomas, a 22-year old transgender swimmer at the University of Pennsylvania, has been shattering women's records at the school.

Before her transition, she competed for three years at Penn as a man, named Will Thomas.

At a meet including Princeton and Cornell on Nov. 20, Thomas had a 1:43:47 time in the 200-meter freestyle and 4:35:06 in the 500-meter freestyle. These times were records for Penn and would have placed Thomas second and third, respectively, in the NCAA Women's Championships, according to the website OutKick.

It is unknown when Thomas transitioned from male to female, but the swimmer competed as a man as recently as November 2019. NCAA rules mandate at least one year of testosterone suppression treatment to be eligible to compete as a woman.

I'm all for her right to transition, and I fully support her decision.

But is it fair for the cisgender women at Penn to compete against someone that is still genetically male?

I can't find the top records, but I see that in 2017 the top time for the 200-meter freestyle for men was 1:34:80. Lia's time of 1:43:47 wouldn't have even been in the Top 20:

I didn't look for the 500 meter freestyle, but I'm sure it's going to have similar results.

If we continue on this path, isn't it likely that men will opt to take a year of testosterone suppression so that they can compete and win in professional sports as a woman, then just stop the treatment when they're finished?
