I think definitive proof will happen soon to many cameras out there now.

90 days....as frequently as UFO stories are now making mainstream.

The Democrats need the distraction. Real or not ....aliens will be the topic.

I really wonder what other life is out there. For mankind to think we are the only kinda intelligent "people " in the whole universe is crazy. It would be wild if aliens were found in our lifetime.

Here's what I've never understood...

What makes us think that we would even be able to recognize alien life? The only forms of life that we would openly recognize are plants and animals, but who can say that other plants don't have something completely different?

We recognize viruses and bacteria, but how could we find those on another planet? Especially if they're totally different from what we've already seen.

Humans can only see a small percentage of the electromagnetic spectrum... would we even be able to fathom life that was on a different spectrum?

I think it's incredibly naive to think that alien life will be tetrapodal, carbon based, 5-7' tall, and communicative.

There's a very good chance that we have been surrounded by "aliens" throughout the life of Earth, but we just don't recognize it. For all we know, COVID could be a life form from another planet...

For that matter, the Earth's surface is 71% water... if we ever were visited by an alien life form, why would they assume that the dominant species is on land instead of in the water?

I'm not sure without using google on when the Stone Age ended. I can remember black & white tv , no cell phones and hardly any computers. The computers that were around wouldn't do any close to what we carry around in our pockets now. Seams technology has jumped ahead really fast.

When was the end of the Stone Age?

Drone on Mars I wonder what the government is really looking for. Space craft wreckage maybe. We will se in a few years if theirs another major tech breakthrough.

What I think is cool is that back when I watched Star Trek, I thought that sort of tech might occur to my grandkids, but, dudes! Some of our stuff NOW is cooler than their stuff!

Oh you're talking about Go Fast FLIR and Gimbal.
Did you ever listen to Fravor talk about the FLIR video?

Again, that's only sensible. Technology advances quicker once the ball gets rolling...but it's a tough ball to get rolling.

Although, I kind of wish you were right, in a way. That'd be cooler.

Two million years of surviving the in a very short time we are this advanced. To many references to aliens also in long ago history.

Well, a lot of that time was spent merely surviving. Once we had established both dominance and didn't have to worry as much about just surviving each day, we could start on advancing our way of life.

The human race roughly has been around 2 million years. I think we have been given tidbits of technology over this time to help us along. I don't think we just got smarter in a blink of a eye.

shouldawouldacoulda

I kind of think they did. Advances in technology lead to advances. The more we learn, the more we can apply that knowledge to future technology.

Remember, we had started the COVID vaccine before we knew about COVID-19.

So why did it take so long? Humans didn't just get smarter that quick.

Nah. I'm giving humanity credit for humanity's accomplishments.

We can really be special if we ever decide to stop killing each other.

How did we go from riding a horse from just around 120 years ago to having the technology we do today. Unless their was alien interference.
